Just curious, & I don't know why I remember this after all these years, maybe because it was my first Mopar but, I had a 71 Road Runner in the early 80s. I still remember the license plate number & some of the major VIN numbers.
It was a 383 car & if I remember correctly, the VIN started off RM23N1, then I'm not sure if it was a G. Is that the plant where it was built? Would that be correct? The car & owner came from North Carolina if that helps. I know this is trivial but, it's been bugging me for some reason. Thanks in advance.

I guess I could look it up myself, (Too lazy) but just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head.

Yes, I would have to look it up to tell you what plant G was in 71, but that information is easily found or someone else may remember off the top of their head.

Thanks all. Now I'll be able to sleep tonight. The St. Louis plant thing brings back memories of me looking it up years ago & finding it was built in that plant.
Google is your friend there.
I know but, I feel more comfortable getting info here. It's usually correct, Google, not so much.
