Starting to look like a blown hemi again

I'm gonna be dreaming about that thing tonight! Crazy looking set-up. What kind of HP? What size Hemi?

After this last freshening,it's now a 4.391 bore with new Diamond 8 to 1 blower pistons makes it 545 CI.New Callies crank and Manley h-beams.The valve job was done by Shady Dell{who just moved} and the shortblock was done by Advanced Race Cars in Patterson New Jersey.I am hoping to see 800+ to the rear wheels on pump gas and 1000+ with a pulley change and some good gas:icon_hang:

Light weight parts are a plus, bur last time on the scales with this brick was 3850 with a full tank-o-fuel and my fat *** in the seat.I am not gunna worry about 40 or 50 lbs.
I will try aluminum cleaner 1st,if that is not up to my satisfaction, then it will go in the beadblast cabinet with the pulley. No paint on the waterpump, just the w/p pulley:tongue8:

Just being a smart a$$ about the weight. I was just wondering if you were going to paint the pump.

Nice set up.

I'm not sure of the ratio, but I think 3lbs of boost would overcome an extra 100 lbs of weight:laughing1::eusa_whistle::rolling::rolling:

Looking back at my previous posts,I want to clarify something no one noticed or said anything. The BDS crank hub that came with the blower package was a 4 inch and had a 1 inch spacer. When I broke a keyway and spun that hub,the new one was only 3.5 inches and arrived overnight on a friday afternoon the day before the big Englishtown MOPAR weekend.Could not get a 1/2 inch spacer 'till the following week sooooooooooooooo, the car did not make it out that weekend:puke:I called BDS and they said that the 3.5 hub is the only one they been making for 10 years:confused2::shruggy:When i told them I bought the whole kit from them 2 years prior, they had nothing to say. They sold me the older stock.More on that later.

Thanks guys for all the kind words.:icon_syda:

The water pump pulley fitment is done.Installed a new ATI super Damper and it fit nice with no honing needed.Bolted on the the water pump & blower pulley with a 1 inch spacer for mock up and measurement.I am slightly disapointed with ATI.When I spoke with TECH and told them it was for a blower drive system, they provided a part number and told me it's a "bolt on deal".Well,we all know what that means:eusa_boohoo:All blower pulleys & spacers have a 2 inch register, the ATI damper has 2.25 register. So I will have to open up the back of the spacer from 2 to 2.225.I figured the spacer need to be 1.3 inches giving me a few thousands to fine tune if need be.:sleepy2::munky2:

Artie,I can't wait!!!I was limited to 13% underdriven & 5lbs of boost.I think 13 to 15 lbs should put a smile on my face,,,,,,,,for a week:munky2:
Just got back from Bill's man cave/shop.He milled the spacer down from 1.5 inches to 1.3 and opened up the back of the spacer from 2 inch to 2.25.
Mocked up the carb linkage,,,,,,,,,nothing is ever easy:eusa_boohoo:

Another situation that comes into play is the alternator will no longer fit on the power steering ear/mount on the waterpump.I will have to wait untill the elephant is back in his cage to mock that up and fabricate some new mounts.:sleepy2:

Alot of the little stuff that isn't noticed:eusa_boohoo:The 1 inch carb spacers come as cast, musta took me close to 3 hours to a 3 step sanding them smooth, than another hour on the polishing wheel to make that "mirror" finish. The used BDS scoop I picked up a while back took another hour or so to polish:eusa_boohoo:
