Starting to look like a blown hemi again

At your rate of "chippin away" maybe you will be ready for the next Hemi Reunion? or maybe Beaver 2012?

However long it takes,it takes.I know what i'll have when I'm ready.Too many of you guys get to the point when you can't street drive your car anymore. My goals are reasonable and attainable.Mid 9's on pump gas and high 8's when I want to change a pulley and fill it up with some good race fuel. Now that your car is all lettered up,do you still street drive it??I'm out cruzin a few nights a week and try to bring my car to e/town for the Mopar weekend,Carlisle, york and the beaver and some nostalgia stuff. But I still have a ways to go and I will get there:sleepy2:

"Now that your car is all lettered up,do you still street drive it??"

Of course i drive it on the street. Lettering is no problem. I'm thinking fuel cost $$$ would be prohibiting with the price of gas the way it is in L.I. for you?
I really would rather go to the track, burn race gas and go fast without worrying about distracted drivers possibly crashing into me. Racing is safer than street driving IMHO.
See picture below with my street wheels and tires DOT legal

I was not sure if your car was still pump gas friendly.I know the performance picked up as did your wheelies!!Fuel for my truck is what really hurts,$200 to fill it up twice a week,,,,,OUCH:eusa_boohoo:
Speaking of fuel,I borrowed my friend's{Nova Joe} steel braided line cutter to make up my new fuel lines and WOW!!It makes life so much easier than the old wiz wheel.I left the lines a little long for now untill after the engine is back in and put the hood on.Then I will fab up an aluminum bracket to hold the regulator.:idea1:
