Good rib sticken' foods

yep always leftovers
for another meal or lunch the next day etc.

I also do the pasta salads, potato salads, 3 been salads

I get easily bored about 3:30 - 4:00pm, it fills that void for sure

Thank God for my wife who is an absolute gourmet because if she wasn't here I would be eating bologna or out of a can.

I think my dad would be eating PB&J,
BLT's or ham sandwiches 2 or 3 meals a day
(& a quart or Early Times rot gut)

Didn't pay much attention to how my X cooked so I'm learning more and more. Also found out by some of her left over recipes how much she was cooking with canned stuff even after having her buy frozen veggies at the very least. Fresh is best but too much of it went bad before using it and even I'm that way so frozen it is. My biggest problem is I really don't like to cook!! LOL. Even making a simple sandwich means stopping what I'm doing and once that happens, getting started again is a chore.

I'm the cook in our house. Sometimes I get a little fancy but complicated dishes are a pain. I'm more of a meat, potato, veggie kind of guy.

My knees are getting worse and out in the shop, taking a break is pretty easy but working in the kitchen, lots of times you can't take a break when it's needed. My mother in law would get winded easily but still tried to cook and most times things were fine but sometimes, things weren't.....

A coffee shop member over at FABO just left the house. He stopped by on his way home to Texas. He drove up to Minneapolis to pick up some sunroof parts from another member. He also drove from there to Fargo ND to visit another member. Nothing better than these forum members. Nice folks! We sat around and enjoyed a sip or two. See you next time Ben Drinkin! (we only had 2. It looks worse than that) LOL

I’m blessed with a local made soda in glass bottles called ski... it’s like liquid cocaine only sweeter! 14 table spoons of sugar and more caffeine then Mountain Dew.. it’s good for hangovers and a morning jolt... addictive is an understatement and they sell the hell out of it in Breese Il., it rivals beer in sales.. then I enjoy a nice schlafly pale ale, ocktoberfest or something along those lines occasionally... too much good stuff how could it it be bad? I have backed off by a long shot but still have one or two skis a day... no I’m diabetic either.. I gave it up for along time but caved in...now I’m trying to control it again. My Jack Daniels is my go to treat in limited quantity — any flavor of it is a okay..

That's awesome @toolmanmike
When you say only 2, do you mean of each?
Nope, just 2. Ben had to head south. We started with the Driftless Glen on the right. A single barrel rye, barrel strength @120 proof and a barrel pick from a friends tasting group. Ben had a gifted bottle of Iowa distilled 6 year Templeton Rye that he tasted and he liked. He will enjoy that one after he gets home.

First! Wish I could go to sleep! :BangHead:

Mornin' Mike. :)
Eh, sleep is something that left me after the "big" C surgery 7+ years ago.
3 hours is normal per night; 4 is rare and a luxury.
It is what it is and no idea why it happens...but it does give one more "woke" time.

Plenty of time to get on one of those internet tangents when exploring or researching
something; you start by looking up something - and it leads you to something - and that
leads you to something else.
Next thing you know, you're two hours down a rabbit hole somewhere....

I used to worry about such things. Now, I'm just thankful to be along for the ride.

Morning everybody. A fine cup of Guatemalan to start my day, then off to the polls. :usflag:

Just took the Charger out to go vote today. Perfect November day for a drive. She really likes the cooler dry air.
