Has anyone used Muscle Motors in Michigan? Am considering their 505 stroker engine. Just like to know the quality of their work and do they fix issues (no warranty). OR Blue Print engines. Offer a 493 stroker with warranty for 30 months.
Or a shop in Northern California that does good MOPAR big block strokers for my '69 Super Bee???

Thanks all.

Myself and a few other people on here have purchased crate motors from CME

I haven't taken delivery of mine yet but there are some threads about them if you do a search

Thanks a lot. Would be interested in your thoughts after engine goes in your vehicle and you drive it.

For sure Mark,

I'll definitely post my comments as soon as I have put some miles on. I went with the 522ci 525hp/625 torq for 7k I expect delivery within the next 6 weeks (give or take) but will not be able to drive the car till Spring given I'm in the Great White North.

I will say though up to this point CME has been fantastic to deal with,

Mike

There were a couple I haven't used either for a really long time now thou, only one I have a address for is Rex Hutchison Racing Engines www.rexracingengines.com @ 4526 Auburn Blvd. Sacramento Ca. phone 916-483-9563, not sure if they are still there or not, he/they knew his stuff years ago anyway, was a big time drag & boat racer/engine builder.... maybe try www.moparengineswest.com/home.htm, Freemont are or SF area not sure where it is now, Richard Nedball avid Mopar drag racer, owner of www.FastManEFI.co electronic fuel injection & book author, member of FBBO too, is associated with them in some way {might be the owner, I'm not 100% sure thou}, he's a diehard Mopar & Hemi guy, lives up here in the Sonora are too... Bill Stamorjohn {spelling?} use to be a great Mopar Engine guy too, but I have no idea if he's still around or not, sorry no #'s, good luck

I've got a Blueprint/Marshall 408 stroker and it screams. Between the parts list, the price, and the warranty, I couldn't pass it up, and I'm glad I didn't.

Why not build it yourself? I put min together in my garage. Just had a machine shop in livermore clean and check it out, then bore it .30 over and install the cam bearings for me. $300 total work. I'm in the delta area if you need help :)

My brother has a few Muscle Motors engines. If you are building a 440, please go with the 520 (4.375" stroke w/ a .030" overbore, best bang for the buck. My brothers engine started out as a shortblock and we put the rest of it together. 11.3:1 compression, 440 Source heads CNC ported by Modern Cylinder Heads with a old .590 MP solid cam. It makes 496 RWHP and this car gets driven, hard (check out the January 2014 Hot Rod Magazine, it's in there). Make sure the car has good connectors in it because it will twist a car without them.
