Damn man !! Like everyone else I'm happy you weren't hurt, and that the car is not hurt worse than it is. Hope it doesn't cost you too much to get it looking great again

It's never good when car + wall happens :(

This is from the 'Nats last year
(no, not mine)

Actually looks/sounds like it could have been MUCH the hell worse.

Damn, all that for a cheap little freeze plug.
Glad your ok, that's all that really matters!
Still fast for going sideways trying to drag a wall along with you, what do you run when you don't take detours?

Glad to know you're ok to race another day. It's good that the wall didn't grab ya and do even more damage.

Another lopsided time slip,hou 'bout a 10.90@136MPH:toothy12:

I'm still all over the place:angel3:

sounds/looks like some tire spin, that is high 9.70's-80's Et/speeds if everything was working correctly....

Well Bud,I was staging and experimenting with the converter on a time shot.I put one bulb on and went to go against the converter. When I looked up,the RED EYE was on.I hesitated then just flat punched it:laughing6:

yeah moving out & rolling the beams will give a slow ET too... been there, done that

Think all I got is a headlight surround? Need one?

The way the fender was crunched,I didn't think it could be repaired:no:
So I loaded the car up and brought it to one of my friends body shop on Saturday just hoping to pull the fender back enough to be able to open the door.

Last coupla monthes the money flowed out faster than it came in. Started working on the body this past Saturday.
Pulled the fender out and most everything else fell into place.Fender came off to finish stretchin & shrinkin to get it as close as possible. Joe says he's gunna fix the original fender.I'm still buying a pair of fenders and a complete grille from Texas and looking at a rechromed steel front bumper.I have not purchased front rims & tires yet, waiting on all the metal and bodyshop expenses first.
I'm confident a few more passes will happen before putting it away for the winter.

When they started pulling with the come along,I had to sit in the car and hold the brakes to keep the car from moving. They just hooked up to an upright I-beam:eusa_shifty:
