Sad to hear you wrinkled that great car. At least you are ok. It looks like you are getting it back in shape.

Did yyou get your pride and joy out of body shop prison yet? Its been a long time now. Thought you were going to do some fall cruising and get some of that good fall air?
Do you think you'll ever hit the drag strip again?:wtg2:

You don't know Hemi-ites very well :) He lives for speed a 1/4 at a time!

Time to update the thread for the 1 hater:icon_fU: and the rest of the good guys:headbang:

I purchased 2 fenders and a grille from a great gent in Tyler Texas. He sent me 2 super rust free fenders,2 grilles,3 headlight bezels and a front directional housing.Shipped through Fastenall [hardware store] store to store near me for $125.James did a fantastic job building a crate and wrapping everything perfect:hello2:

I must have missed something. Who is hating?

Ther's only one, ther's ALWAYS at least one.

After spending about an hour on the damaged fender it was off the car in no time. They pulled it out to close od the original shape.Once I found fenders, they stopped working on the damaged fender 'till the new ones arrived. They pulled it back to the orininal shape, just had to hammer out some wrinklrs

Both bumpers were repaired and prepped for paint.Still debating on bright silver or,,,,,,,,,,BLACK!

Next the trim hole in the side of the fender{fury fenders} had ti be welded closed and grinded down smooth.

sweet I can't wait for the next video or photos & it looks great

Holy cow HEMI-ITIS . . . you get so much work done on your car it makes me feel like I'm loafing around on mine ! ! !

The car looks great - hope you get to enjoy it a 1/4 mile at a time again real soon ! ! ( SMILE )

Good to see it coming back together. Nice looking Demon in the background.

Cool beans!! And what is a 'J' bar? Don't think I've heard that term before. I also like to epoxy in my freeze plugs. Not going to let the motor ever freeze....

"J" bar goes from the front down bar, through the firewall, braced to the shocktower then bends down like a "J" and welded to the front framerail.I will do this in the fenderwell because there is NO room in the engine bay:blob1:

Also used "the right stuff" when I installed new freeze plug.Ran a bead around the plug, waited a little while and pressed it in.Then took the excess and ran my finger in circles around the plug where it meets the block.
