Well, mom's flight from FL arrives at BWI tomorrow. We're going to decompress and visit Friday (we see each other 2x a year), and I may throw a fresh coat of wax on the Charger. We'll be there Saturday. Driving the Charger, '14 Grand Cherokee chase vehicle (a/c for mom if she needs it). I'll pack my 10x10 EZ up tent and a couple folding chairs, and probably a cooler of water/gatorade (and if mom has a say, she'll bring wine!).
It *looks* like the storm is going out to sea down around VA Beach or so...should be far south and east of the fairgrounds. We may see some showers, according to the weather...but what do they know? I expect H-O-T, and probably humid...like usual. Some rain would be nice, to keep the dust down, but...
I'll have my Mad Money...but without my 2500 diesel with 8' bed, I think I'll be safe against
too many impulse buys!
If anyone needs any 2.2/2.5 turbo stuff, let me know and I can schlep it up. I've got a couple heads, blocks, some manifolds, turbos, fuel rails, A413 turbo automatic transaxles, Daytona body parts, Shadow body parts, Spirit body parts, Shelby Lancer body parts...random stuff from decades of buying, blowing motors, parting cars...and more than I need as spares for my van and my Daytona.
I also have a 36k mile 5.7 Hemi with 5 speed auto out of my totalled (t-boned by a stop sign runner) 05 Magnum R/T, sitting on a skid. Plan was to put it in my Satellite wagon, but now...I don't know. If I got the right offer, I'd probably sell it. Stock motor, have computers, can pull the gas pedal or other items out of the car as well...I also have all the seats ("slate" gray - a real light gray leather), the radio/nav unit (early, non-touch screen)...I have to check to see what else has been sitting indoors. The shell of the car is sitting out in the woods in case I needed anything else for the project that I haven't made any progress on even though I have all the parts
Big parts would
force me to bring my truck (or the van)....mixed blessing/curse, there LOL - if I have space, I'll want to fill it back up before heading home!
Looking forward to the show, and to meeting everyone!
