Thanks mechanic. I grew up like most of us with the practical mechanics of how a car works, what is most efficient, comfortable, smooth ride, etc. You’re talking about transportation. I have a Volvos and Toyotas for that.
My Runner isn't transportation. It's a 68 Plymouth Roadrunner, arguably the second most significant muscle car in history. It's a cool piece of automotive history. To look at it as transportation is a slap in the face of all muscle cars. Comfort and efficiency isn't in the equation. Think about it, these cars aren't exactly the pinnacle of superior automotive engineering.
The point of this thread is simply about looks and what will work without tearing itself apart.
I didn't realize you were building a trailer queen. Most of us drive our Mopars.
The other part of the equation is more apparent; the cost of all those upgrades. Hey, if you've got the money, go for it.
There is a great deal more on tire and wheel combos over at http://www.protouringmopar.com/ and http://www.pro-touring.com/forum.php.
Here's the Mopar specific link http://www.pro-touring.com/threads/47410-Lets-see-all-the-Mopars!!?highlight=diesel1114.
