Did you use new clips or reuse the factory clips?

A while back new clips had issues keeping the trim on. Hopefully, they fixed it.

That, and the screw heads were to tall preventing the trim to snap on. I always find NOS clips and screws, a lot less drama.

That doesn’t appear to be the case with mine. The screws even had that yellow wax on the tips.

My Coronet came loose in the corner at speeds I won't mention.

Try clipping the trim on them before gooing in the back glass..

I've dealt with clips that are too tight to the body, and the trim won't get under them....... I've slipped something under them and pried them up a little; just so they have a little spring action......

agree with Wayne, test fit before glass install.....I actually do it before paint

Mark, have you tried out the fitting of the flexible ducts on these outlets yet?

Mine were a real PITA to install. Round duct and slightly too large diameter of duct outlet.
If not already done, please try it before you close in the dash any further.

Maybe Vintage have changed things since I installed mine.....maybe not.

Yeah, the crappy ones had the goo as well. Hopefully they got the issues sorted out with the repops by now, but like Wayne stated, test fit your trim before caulking in the windshield.

I had to put a new fill tube donut gasket in my 383 Charger so nothing too heavy duty was done today, just F&R windshield clips.

Today’s progress. The fuel lines need to be routed on the left side instead of the right.

The fuel one from the regulator to the engine will be run when the engine’s back in.

Although it doesn’t look it, there is adequate clearance for the emergency brake cable.
