Any thermoquad guys here? What can i use to bond the primary jet wells back onto the plastic mid section? Whatever the factory used is white..Thought about JB weld but not sure. Obviously it has to be rated for use with gas.
Thanks!

I didn’t realize it came off, didn’t read thoroughly. The ones I did were still attached but leaked. I would still use the JBWeld though.
I roughed up the area around the old side and knocked down all the white bonding and then smeared the JBWeld around the old joint. You can’t go crazy, the gasket needs to fit around and then fit down into the base plate.

I had one come off completely and used the JB Weld. 6 years now and so far so good.

I think most 2 part epoxies will work just make sure its gas resistant.

I’ve never tried JB weld. I’ve had success with Permatex cold weld and Marine -Tex. Just be sure to get it clean, none of the old epoxy, a then give a few extra scrapes with a razor blade, one last prep from lacquer thinner or something similar. Butter both the main body and the well caps, lightly, but completely. Then set some weight on them and walk away until tomorrow.
