Time for a show lets see the 71-74's

Don't be scared by the lack of paint, it's pretty solid throughout!
Car has most everyh IMG_0446.jpgView attachment 89209View attachment 89210ting new below the floors and in front of the firewall:
Rebuilt 340 with Mahle hi-comp pistons, new rods/bearings/crank/ correct manifolds. valve job etc
Has rebuilt trans/axle/brake lines, ball joints, new steering box etc
Needs a new interior and some tuning, but it's nice to have a Mopar back on the drive again.

Good luck with it UKPlymouth! May need paint work but thats all part of these old cars, sounds like a solid car and a good drive train in it..

Thanks, it's pretty solid, but it looks like a raccoon lived inside for a while! Still, no major bodywork or mechanical concerns at present. just getting to know the car at the moment.

If you mean by that things all chewed up, I would really check all the wiring good.. Wouldn't want to have a fire, just a suggestion but, this kind of thing does happen when the furry little creatures move in..

I'm going thru the electrics currently. oust parts are working. I'd like to know more of the cars history: the body is near rust free and yet the dash has surface rust and the heating controls are all rusted up as are the springs on the front bench seat. Strange.

Sounds like your windshield may have leaked in water, runs down in the dash and if the seat springs are rusted it may have filled the floor with water at one time to rust them.. May need a new front windshield seal. I would check up under there and see maybe if you can tell where the water was getting in.

Here's another one of my bahama yellow car....finally moved to the back garage where I can work on it!
