Just made my best passes last night. Best et (11.22),best 60ft (1.558), and best mph (120.19). It's go time As the air is getting better, I plan on running 10.48 or 9.40.

What MPH with those awesome numbers As I've seen some conflicting numbers at times?

Anywhere from 118 to 142.75

Duh!

Why is it that I always hear this phrase "turning up the wick", but it never happens and they actually go slower.
Maybe if you do a pulley swap and put in some race gas, you'll get that 140+ mph slick!

:jerk:That's hilarious.Anytime either one of you would like to go for a 15 mile ride and then grab a lane,we can go for a few sheckles.OR,,,,,,you can just keep rebuilding engines.

How about a white 63 Plymouth for $500.00 at mopars st the valley.
Heads up clocks off .400 protree.
Yes that's a call out

Those are admirable goals. I'm at the point where I just keep the wick trimmed. Last time out my 2 time runs were within .006 seconds.

Are you referring to me as " any one of you two?" How about a 50 mile jaunt and a hot lap. Make it 1500 bucks. I'll throw in a solid cam for that money and run you with a stock stroked .030 over naturally aspirated 440. If that doesn't frighten you, you have no clue.

I was at a customer of mines house this summer, he bought a 2005 corvette for $13K, did some suspension work, a super charger, heads, and stret strip tires. Also shed a bunch of weight from the car like A/C and a lot of plastic.. Car runs under 10 seconds, he showed me time slips and vids on his phone. He said he was into the car for under $20K I couldn't belive it.

Well theres a point to this story, he got into an online back and forth about whos dick was bigger, or car was faster what ever, and met a guy at epping, they raced and he lost because he was having a bd day or what ever, his car that ran 10.0's was running 10.80's (car was there almost stock), he lost $2500 bucks.. The entire time he told me this story I could not help but thinking, what the **** is wrong with you, build a car to have fun, race it to have fun and be happy for the faster guy.. Who gives a ****... Back in the day when them boys were all starting with the same cars and doing little tricks for each 10th it was cool, now some kid can buy a nissan off the showroom floor tune it and run high 9's, what fun is that, lol (probably a ton)
