To street or not to street......

My street car; 4.30, manual VB, 15 gallon fuel cell, 5300 converter. Driven it well over 3 hours on the freeway. Loud, yes, hot, yes, use a lot of fuel, yes. Around town no issues. Is that wedge injection or Hemi?

Mine is a fair weather toy.I HAVE been caught in the rain,,,,,,,,no wipers,,,,,,,,spool,,,,,,,,ET Streets,,,,,,,:realcrazy:

Shined up race car. Can't make myself "tame" it. Spooled with 4500 stall and 4.56 gears. No highways or rain for me.
Just have shift quickly (low RPM) on the street.

Don't need no stinkin' horn, I have my finger.

You didn't understand. I posted that all those things weren't needed for a street-car. Stop and turn-signals, along with a notion of an exhaust system....nothing else. I haven't been pulled-over for slicks, in 45 years. My cars also don't get wet. 40% CHANCE OF RAIN....stay home or parked till it dries.

Depending on your locals....results with law-enforcement, may vary. The cops are pretty understanding around Motown. Just don't be "that guy".
