So, there it is, the C01 head, which is the 270 head will have a Max Wedge port opening.

I will leave it up to you Jim when the time (money-lol) comes as to which heads to use on my stroker RB. From what I've seen, 6xxHP and 6xxTQ can be had with the 240s, but part of choosing an engine builder is to trust them to put the parts together, along with their expertise, and achieve the desired goal. Thanks to all for the info.

So I just checked in today and was told the 270's will be done within the next two weeks. They are currently being machined. I wonder if the flow numbers will vary any from original posted numbers since they had to modify the castings so many times after the original information was shared.

I believe AndyF has gotten 750-775 already with no porting or enhancement to flow. I don't know what I am putting out yet but mine have been ported by Larry Smith and are flowing [email protected] on a local bench which has always been pretty consistent flow:horsepower-wise. I am hoping for 800-825 to put my 3800 beast into the high 9's.
