Hi Guy's I'm in the process of assembling my 66 Satellite 2 dr. hard top. When I got this car the passenger side vent window leaked and didn't close well. At the top, the glass is contacting the stainless side window channel and the clearance increases toward the bottom of the vent window. The drivers side is approximately the same but the top just clears the glass channel. On the drivers side the pivot assembly looks to be in the center of the pivot hole in the glass. The passenger side does not line up as well but attempts to adjust into the correct location have been unsuccessful. I can get the vent to close but the glass wants peel the gasket lip off the window channel and force it under the glass. It seems that the upper pivot pin wants to move forward or the lower vent pivot pin wants to move rearward to allow the vent to rotate a little forward at the top. I did replace the vent window seals but they fit well and the marks on the parts indicate that this condition existed with the original seals. It appears this if the vent glass was slid rearward in relation to the lower vent channel with the pin it would allow the slight rotation that I believe it needs. Has anybody experienced this issue or have any advice as to how to correct it? Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks in advance for your thoughts! Brian IMG_0499.jpgIMG_0497.jpg

What happens to the top when you pull the bottom and set the latch?

Hi 65 3 times, doesn't seem to move. Once you get it closed it doesn't seem to be jammed in position it only takes a small amount of force to move the upper "tail" into position. It acts like the axis line between the upper and lower pivot is slightly skewed toward the rear of the vehicle at the top. Thanks Brian.
