Had the car dynoed today at Carlisle. Place your bets and take a guess.

wild *** guess

net 385-400 @ real wheel HP, net 435-445 hp at the flywheel,
"guessing" it's about 3700 #'s with you in it, if it weights less, than less power at the crank or rear wheels
114mph @ 11.80's giving you the benefit of the Et & mph
http://www.wallaceracing.com/hpcalculatorquarter.php

Im guessing 456 rear wheel / 506 fly wheel and 3900 lbs with you in it, giving 11.5 sec potential. What can i say, im a glass half full kinda guy.

And the winner is........

Wallace racing calculator! 392 @ the wheels. I don't know how accurate it was. Theguy couldn't give me data on rpm or torque output which is what I really wanted. He said something in the ignition system
wasn't working with his computer. He was happy to take my 80 bucks though
..

Couple pictures from Beaver Springs NSS race.

Time to start losing weight!

Some more less weight.

I like it!
That's at least 27 lbs if I remember correctly when mine was removed.
What's the difference between the steel and glass hood.
Ya gotta lose those heavy reciprocating rear steel wheels too. Just sayin...

Got that covered too.

Looks great bob! How much weight do you think you'll shave off with the hood, heater and wheels?? I hear those OEM front seats are pigs as well. My car came with some brand-x buckets, kinda like the '70 roadrunner seats, weigh probably 15 lbs each or so. A bit of weight savings and still retro cool.

I think if you factor in the rear wheels, it's got to be over 100 lbs.
