Waking up the beast

Attached the scoop to the glass hood today. Now the fiberglass work begins. I hope I'm good at this!

Thanks for the help. I would have forgotten about that step if it weren't for you.

How do you like the color combo?

Hey look at the cool toys I picked up from another member. Turns out he's right on the way home from vaca.image.jpg

What company? I need a 65 Plymouth belvedere hood.& a trunk lid

The one I have is Glasstek but he has another from a different mfgr (not sure what maker). It's for a 69 R&R/gtx, it's grey and has a rolled edge, it honestly looked nicer and was much more rigid because of the edge. I personally stayed away because it was so rigid if it didn't for right it never would. I figured the glasstek unit I could manipulate it a bit with fastener placement if needed . He has plenty of other parts as well, runs this wicked 8/9 sec Ray Barton HEMI roadrunner.

I will probably be passing by his area again in a few weeks, so I have no problem picking up parts for you guys and bringing them back to northern NJ. I might even have time for another visit to Island, so possibly could just deliver there.

I love that tall six pack scoop thinking running that on my 72 sat Once I get to that point.

I was hoping to find this scoop. It was attached to a cuda hood that I paid 20 bucks for at Carlisle.

Thanks for the offer. I'll take the Barton Hemi.

Hopefully it will look great when it gets finished,

it's a little gaudy yellow right now...LOL...

A little "organsol or semi gloss black" when you get finished will all the prep & fill work
{hopefully you don't add back "too much weight" to the 6bbl scoop/hoods final product...he he ha ha}

are you going to make it functional ram air too ??

good luck, have fun, every little bit helps...
