Want to talk about NSS Cars intellectually.

Like I said before looks like fun, great videos too....

So for all the guys that have been running nss for years. What car and engine combo would you run.Hemi or wedge, what intake,ci,your dream build. What would you build with your years of experience?????:D

This is what I'd build again. But with a Hemi next time...easier to change spark plugs!

65 CARS I BELIEVE SHOULD RUN HEMIS BUT MY 65 DODGE CORONETS BOTH HAVE LARGE WEDGES IN THEM.
hemis cost alot to build but to go Real fast you need to spend crazy money in order to go fast or lighten the car up as much as possible to go fast.

I agree!! Much easier with Dist. in the front of engine:hello2:

confused didnt know they made a wedge or hemi with the dist in the rear dont quite understand what you meant?

Sorry inside joke, Action Angelo was once a die hard small block racer!:pimp4:

Also all first gen. hemis IE, 331, 354, 392, had Dist. in the back

All Is good I was eating peanut butter kiss cookies as fast as my wife was making them!

I wish I had Chris's money ( SSracer) that way I could still keep my street/strip 63 Sport Fury car which I love and then build a seperate race car for NSS racing and a car to go FAST racing also ! :D That would be so cool. But I also realize that I can be thankful that I at least have my street/strip 63 as many people cant afford that either. But I would kinda like to build a 62 Dodge like this beauty here for NSS racing. It would be a very large wedge eng so it could run easy 9's and look like a stock 413 Maxie ! :hello2: This 62 is really a nice car and the owner was cool to talk with. He even uses Max Wedge exh manifolds on it (has no headers) as it is a real mild 413 and it runs mid 11's. Ron

Hey "4406brl" what does your runner 60 ft ? I only ask because with your 118 mph you have easy 11.30's with good hook and a decent 60. I would think you would need to 60 in the 1.50's as my old combo ran an 11.49 @ 116 with a best 60 of 1.57. So if you get your 60's in the high 1.50's with your 118 mph you got at least 11.30's ! Ron

Good looking eng there 65 Dodge ! Ron
