Tater chips on a Samich... interesting . Still meat and potatoes! We need to share some of these recipes for sandwiches. I’ve got a mustard to die for..

As long as its not Soylent Green or fake tuna, any of the usual moo/oink/cluck/gobble stuff is good when it gets down to it. Also forgot to put tri-tip down for faves too. Minus sauce as I prefer rubs over sauce that hides poor quality meat.

I grew up on cheap stuff and still actually like it today. Bologna, deviled ham, braunschweiger, olive loaf, salami.

Mom also used to eat Red/Bermuda Onion sandwiches too. I tried one once and it wasn't all that bad, but my breath afterwards would knock a Buzzard off a **** Wagon...cr8crshr/Bill

I did hear old folks eat lard sandwiches when times were very lean.. my dad spoke of it.. I guess it would make bread taste like bacon. But lard sure does make a pie crust killer!

I saw my Dad eat a ketchup sandwich, once. He grew up in Philly in the depression.

Sometimes I just roll up a piece of cheese into what ever meat I have handy. No bread or bun. Kim

Favorite? My answer is "yes".
I've been on a kick lately of German beef bologna - the real stuff.
Makes a WORLD of difference over the usual chicken/pork/whatever baloney....
and yes, that was an intentional spelling there.

For me, it's a hoagie (uh, that's a submarine sandwich for you non-Philly folks ) with turkey and bacon, plus the normal fixins.

By the way, the secret to East Coast Cheesesteaks and hoagies is the BREAD! No one can make rolls like the NE part of the country!

Lays original or Ruffles.
This isn't related to sandwiches but I also put Ruffles on top of my pizza, only when its a thicker crust though, maybe a little drizzle of ranch to top it off.

HELL YA!! 3 eggs or a three egg cheese omelet with 3 or 4 slices of scrapple, large glass apple cider (all from Cowtail Holly Ravine, fresh eggs & cider) for Sunday breakfast for years!!

I watched an episode of Bizarre Foods where they made/had scrapple...I think the only thing I wouldn't eat before that would be the sausage from the street vendors in Botswana... He took a bite and found a goat turd in his( Andrew Zimmerman)...
