What did you do to your Mopar today?

Pulled my 727 for rebuild...have a few other things on the list now that she's down for a bit. Carb kit, repaint intake, thinking about cam swap too...

I recently purchased my 1969 Roadrunner. It has a 440 6 pack, and the "a12" liftoff fiberglass hood. It had the 440+6 decal on the scoop, which is the wrong decal for the 69 A12 Runner. I sourced out the original decal, and replaced the decal to correspond with the original. Oh... dusted it, did the windows, tires.....etc. etc. I find myself going into the garage just to look at the car! lol. I am a lucky man.:headbang: IMG_1617.jpg

pulled the rear main seal Retainer!
This is what i found...

It lives! Finally got everything installed, connected, wired, adjusted, etc for the EFI on the 505 stroker. Fired right up no problems, but I need to do a bit of tuning now.
I'll have to get some pictures and video to post.

I rescued my 64 Dodge from being held for ransom for the past two months. Now it is in my shop and I can relax a little...............................MO

Installed a new FTI 9.5" 4000 stall converter and a new tranny temp gauge.
10 minutes later, went street racing
Had a few good runs with some Mustangs, but then I got my arse beat by a 1000hp GTR
Still trying to get a feel for the new converter as it's hard to tell when she's actually spinning or slipping, plus I have her loaded down with a full tank, two spares, tools, air tank, water sprayer, etc., etc.
I was too lazy to unload, so I just ran her as is (not that it would've made much difference against the GTR lol)

I'll try to upload video footage tomorrow.

Entered street n strip yesterday, and went home after 1st round. Today, F1, Indy 500 & NHRA. Tomorrow, back to block sanding.

While I had the motor out for replacement of a bad soft plug, which I am going to replace all. I got carried away and ended up stripping the paint and painting engine compartment original dark red metallic, also replaced brake lines100_2622.jpg100_2629.jpg100_2632.jpg

pulled the engine back out to fix a couple leaking freeze plugs and the smashed oil pan :angryfire:

header cut outs.gifHad open header cutouts installed just past the H crossover pipe. Not the electric ones but the ones that have 3 wing nuts to take off to open the headers. Sounds awesome.

Put the new intake on the hemi earlier last week & yesterday, I re-jetted the carbs, got them back on, then took it for a ride. After that, I recharged the a/c in the '69 with 2 cans of Freon.

Removed the rusted out battery tray and installed a new/repro battery tray and battery hold down kit. Of course I was not able to do this BEFORE the lip broke off sending the battery into the radiator fan.... so I also installed a new battery.
