What did you do to your Mopar today?

I laid two black strips down an old country road today.

Had to get a little of the carbon out of the engine! :)

I manufactured a 3-4 shifter rod. Why you may ask? I discovered a while back that my transmission and engine are out of a 77 Dodge van with a 440 and 833od. The 3-4 lever has to be turned 180 degrees in order for the pattern to be correct, but, because my roadrunner has the shifter in the rear position, E-body setup, the original 3-4 shift rod will hit the trans support cross member if the lever is flipped. I decided that I was tired of the backward shift pattern and made a new rod. It seems to be working well.

i agree a real muscle car has three pedals i had a ricer subaru do nearly the same thing needless to say he ate exaust also !!!

spent a lot of time this year with my youngest son and grand daughter a the county fair ,but I came home every night and whispered sweet nothings to her and said good nite :icon_thumright:

I'll tell what I did to mine nothing! It's over 100 degrees here. I'm going to wait until it cools down!

Finally got my behind the motor mount freeze plug in, and the others on that side.

Put the starter back on, and reinstalled the motor mount. Fired it up and...

...leaking from between the engine and trans :(

That's pretty much why I haven't been driving my RR for the last month :(

We've been averaging 105-108* heat index, so i'm not driving ANYTHING without the A/C on full blast

If I did nothing when the heat index was over 100, I'd only work in December and January!

You want to talk about stiffening up the floors ! ! !

Today I'm working up suspension parts for someone else's ride (as usual lol) and this time they aren't even for a Mopar -- still in my metalwork stage, I'm deburring original factory spindles and new tubular upper and lower control arms for a 90s-something GM show truck. There's so much welding slag all over them it's not even funny ... and I'd be willing to bet the LCA weighs almost as much as I do. The things are huge! I won't bother with pics because no one cares until they're pretty. :D
