What did you do to your Mopar today?

My '69 Sport Satellite is in the Body shop after a 1 year wait. She should be there for 8-9 weeks before completion. I can't for her to be finished.

Restored my wiper linkage today. Here is the before;

I did the same thing on my 65 Sport Fury. I don't smoke so I didn't need the ash tray. On the Fury, I also took out the cigarette lighter and (using washers) put the manual choke pull handle in its place. I hated having the choke lever just hanging under the dash. This way, it was also hidden. Switches are for line lock, fuel pump, and elec cooling fans.

Got a hold of some original '68 BENGAL Charger emblems for my Original '68 BENGAL car!!!
I have recently come back to the DodgeCharger.com because I have been seriously entertaining the idea of
finally restoring my '68 Bengal Charger I have owned for almost 40 years. I came across a post in a Bengal
Charger Forum topic from 2014 from aray17 that he had original emblems from the Tom Kneer dealership that
closed in the late 70's. Hemi-Hampton contacted him and bought 3 '72 Bengal emblems, and some guy from
Pennsylvania who made a '68 Bengal clone bought 2 of the '68's.
What are the chances of him still having the remaining 2 '68s??? I sent him a email last month and last
week I received 2 NEW '68 BENGAL Charger emblems to replace my originals!!!
Thanks again aray17 and DodgeCharger..com!

Havent seen either one of them today, 300 yards to the shop and cant even see the building through the rain. picked up a smallblock head from the machine shop, and ordered parts for the '68 D100. Surfing the internet looking for Fury ragtop parts

Got it in Epoxy Primer . . .

Got the quarter panel in Epoxy Primer . . .

Guess that means that it's about time to start slinging "mud" at the car . . .

Took my bee out for the first spring drive, filled the tank and lost a quarter tank. Gas leaked like crazy then stopped totally. Now what?

I have spent the last 2 days with the help of a good friend dialing the Bird in, and fixing a lot of neglected items.
Mechanically, we set the timing and adjusted the carb...really woke her up!
changed the alternator
changed the bullet fender turn signal lenses (which turned out to take about 4hrs due to the bulbs not seating correctly to the original wires, which after chasing wires and grounding, finally got it!)
replaced all broken bulbs/sockets in the dash
fixed the reverse light warning under dash (car had a front wiring harness replaced at some point and the connector was in the wrong place in the bulkhead
replaced the faulty ingintion lamp timer, which was causing a draw.
added a yellow cap mopar battery
still a few more items, and the engine needs a good degreasing, but I am truly happy and can't wait to show her!

Switched over to the steel wheel, dog dishes for a while.

I didn't spin a wrench on it today - but I did order the SSBC front disc brake conversion kit from Summit for it.

Both look nice, but the "dog-dish" look has been so over-played in our area since the 80's.

Spent the last few days ordering and receiving parts. I have an upholstery guy coming by this afternoon to give me a quote to redo the seats and headliner. Looking forward to actually driving the Coronet one of these days, but better to address all the safety issues before enjoying.
