What did you do to your Mopar today?

Ordered some new rubbers and fuzzies. :)
Man... you guys can just order that stuff up? We have to go to Vegas for that kind of stuff. The rubbers we can get pretty easy, but the fuzzies...

I'm "out of State" so ordering Dodgy stuff is a piece of cake. Comes in a plain brown wrapper.

the brakes are good! the throttle is scary, so I dug out another throttle cable from the stash so the car can now drive normally. I am also an extreme stocker guy. So I reinstalled original 5.5 x14 road wheels, and highway tires. it is a manual steering and manual brake four speed car, so now it drives like I was in my friends new 69 roadrunner in 1969!
his was a rubber floor manual everything 383 Orange Roadrunner.
next project is that edelbrock intake and carb is going away, once my stock AVS returns from being rebuilt.

Front suspension rebuild is proceeding very slowly as I have surprisingly little free time considering that I'm retired. The castle nuts provided with the Delphi Technologies lower ball joints are far too thin. I wound up using the washer from the old upper ball joint to bring the cotter pin hole into line with the groove in the castle nut.

Got back to work on the Alterkation suspension.....made a lot of progress.

Drilled the frame and mounted the shock tower brace.

Mounted the lower control arms, coilovers, spindles and upper control arms.

Everything is still quite loose until I'm certain everything is correct....

Then, went to mount the rack and pinion unit and it seems like the bolt holes don't line up....probably something I'm not seeing but it doesn't matter because right then, laying on my back, my vertigo kicked in.... I get that vertigo crap sometimes laying on my back looking up working on the car....absolutely horrible.

So I called it a day at that point...

Neighborhood cat....good critter, likes to supervise.

Great work Jeff. I can sympathize with you on the vertigo. I have the same problem. My hoist has helped immensely.

Isn't that the worst?!!!!

Last time I had it bad I got up from under the car and I was so dizzy I started stumbling backwards. If my other car wasn't behind me I might have cracked my skull on the concrete floor.

Minor victory (57 Dodge). All rust repair completed and last of the major components in epoxy primer. Getting too cold now to keep the shop warm enough for painting, so that's it for 2022 body work.
