Stack'm right, turn the lights down low and play something romantic! You might get another one by Spring !!!

My second 4 post lift is at our old house (which my oldest son bought from us 5 years ago) and I'm having it moved here on Friday so I had to shuffle stuff around and sweep up the floor.

Got the little fella cleaned up and ready to set off to a car show tomorrow.....my first in quite a few years. I got tired of all the BS involved in car shows and needed a break from that. Hoping to catch up with a few more FBBO members tomorrow.....if the rain holds off long enough. Bucket and rags, and some car wash for a gentle scrub and dusting. Also wired in an accessory cable to plug my battery charger into easily...since the battery box is behind the driver seat.

:xscuseless:

I also checked underneath to see my new snubber bracket.......this takes up the huuuuuge distance between the snubber rubber and the bodywork. Doing burnouts carries a certain amount of risk.....I'm all for minimising that risk.

Put some ballast in the rear also for the expected rain fall.......4 bags of garden mix should be about right.

The original Airtex fuel pump in my 69 Road Runner sprung a leak, so I pulled that out today. This one appears to be rebuildable & fortunately there is a business not too far from me that specializes in rebuilding pumps, so I’m going to drop that off tomorrow.

Going to tell them not to strip the paint?

Finished up the Alterkation suspension install. ....just gots to finish the linkage to the steering column. ....

Then put the Wilwood brakes all together, mounted everything and even put the front wheels on, and set it on the ground.

Alignment is OMG funny! But I had no idea where to set it during assembly. ...

Next, everything comes back out as one big unit, I'll set it into my rolling engine/transmission dolly to stuff back in from underneath the car......

Oh.....plus a million other things too.....

Today I pulled out the new suspension I just installed and mounted it to the cart.

I had posted a few days ago a thread asking how on Earth it mounted to the cart.....figured it out!

Tomorrow I'm going to install my Coan torque converter in my 727, mate the transmission to the engine and hopefully mount them on the suspension on the cart...
