I managed to install my torque converter, mate the transmission to the engine and mount the whole hot mess onto the suspension. .....

Pretty productive weekend overall.....

Got about 8 hours in so far.

Yup, don’t blame me, it’s what it came with. Why they didn’t find an 8 3/4 that would bolt right in is beyond me. It would cost me by more to swap over to an 8 3/4 versus doing what I’m doing now.

Put a Furd part in a Mopar and it will do what Furd does best! Fail!

Ma Mopar put a 9" in the 2021 7-second Challenger Drag Pak. They also elected to use a T400 instead of a Torqueflite.

The Ford 9" is an excellent rear end...no question about it.

I'd prefer the Mopar unit, but nothing "bad" with the 9" at all.

Slightly hungover from my company Christmas party, but still committed to making progress every day. I put a new bulkhead connector on the headlight wiring harness and rewrapped the wiring with non-adhesive tape.

I also made a new power supply harness for the MSD 6AL.

I brought my LCAs to work this morning, Tommy our driveline guy said he will press the bushings out. Should I put the new outer shells in before getting them powder coated or wait?

A WESKCAR kit with battery caps and decals showed up in today’s mail, I couldn’t wait to put them on my battery. I think it looks pretty legit…

I moved my 68 Coronet project out to a storage shed and tarped it down so I can get my 70 Charger project from my house garage back in the shop for the winter

I assembled my new 3.23 ring gear, to its new Suregrip unit and pressed on new Timken bearings.
I will be replacing the 4.11 ring gear and open diff. soon.
wishing Santa would bring a 4 speed automatic for Christmas!
I want to cruise 75mph at 2200 rpm. Not the current 60mph at 3200rpm. The other Charger is ready to paint, just waiting on dryer weather!

512 cubes will be another step closer. Now to find a hyd roller camshaft core.

Check with Comp Cams....? A buddy of mine says he's getting one ground from them and they had cores in stock.
