Had to get a shorty air cleaner, decided to go with the 14" air power top from summit along with a 2" element but the base they sold me on with a 3/4" rise didn't work. It sux cuz it will cost me as much as the product to send it back. now I have to return the base and try out the k&n dropped base hope it works, part of my problem is my stubbornness I want to use the Edelbrock thick heat dissipating carb gasket under my 800 so now I have to deal with this lol oh well
Got to tackle the lovely task of removing the remainder of the black tar goo in the rear window sill......Torch, puddy knife, razor, wire wheel.....beer..lol

My neighbor is my body/paint mentor and says we should be ready to shoot paint this time next week. I think he is optimistic but he is a skilled and fast.

First you need a photobucket account then you can upload your pictures to it and retrieve the "IMG CODE" then where you type (Message box) there is that yellow looking post card up top, paste it in there and then click ok to put into your message box. There may be another way but this is how i do it. Hope it helps..
I finished buffing the paint. It looks alot better. It will have to do til i can get it painted. Hopefully i can make the patch for the driver floor on saturday so i can get the motor back in. I want to drive it some before winter. I can always start the body work then...
