It's a slant 6 car.I did see that one as well. Was thinking of making the trip but not enough time.
Just got back from our trip to Germany with our youngest son as our tour guide. He was there for a month doing training for work. He stayed an extra 12 days to drive us around the country side. Had a lot of fun, great food, and plenty of beer. That little girl can drink!!!!! The Autobahn was a blast, fastest I have ever driven a car, same for the wife (and she liked it)! To be fair, she is a pretty good driver.
Once back, the wife and I unloaded the new lift and rotisserie. That fricken lift weighed a ton (actually just shy of 1800 pounds). A little more than the little P/U box could handle so we had to trailer it to the house. PITA, but it is in the barn now waiting on other projects before being installed.

Spent about a year and a half in Germany up at Hahn AFB......fell in love with the autobahns plus all the cool valley roads going down to the river. Late 71 until early 73.Glad to read that you liked Germany.
It's a nice country.
Back in 74-76, i was stationed there while in the Air Force, at a base, long ago closed down, years ago.
For 5 days- 1000 miles of gravel, dirt and sand in Southern Utah. Not as easy as it used to be but what amazing veiws!

Man, same here. Took a ride on a 71 Honda SL350 to Galveston and then on to San Luis Pass riding the beach and then rode around the dunes so long as the sand was still packed. Don't know how many miles it was total but it felt like I rode 1000! I'm thinking bike suspensions are MUCH better with today's bikes than they were 50 years ago.....Dont know how you do it,my friend does it all the time. 500 miles in a day no problem.
How do you find the time to do all that you do!!!?Not what i want to be doing this week. I would happily fly my decrepit old *** around the sky as the engine is, but absolutely no way that I'd sleep at night giving thought to flying our Granddaughters back and forth to camp! Out it comes, we roll the dice and see what the bill is for a complete overhaul. Gotta be cheaper than a Viking river cruise!
