What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Well, did a marathon, non stop, packaging up session, of the disc brake system parts, that sold to another member here on the B bodies site.
108 pounds of parts in four box's.
Then i went out and bought a chicken fried rice, lunch for myself, at the local Chinese restaurant.

Thanks!!
I've never used the nylon type, but have been tempted to try. It took me about 6 hours to find my reamer set. It's one of those tools that doesn't get used much anymore. View attachment 1750830
Know all too well about 'lost' tools that don't get used very much! Seems like I spend way more time looking for stuff than I do working on the stuff!

Put the Bird and Bee back into reproduction mode. Hoping for a 65 F/X or 68 Charger this round.. lol

I could always go for another if the right one popped up, but honest & clean 68 Chargers are real tough to find these days. .... at least from what I see on the interwebs. That said, I have seen a couple nice 68 Hemi Chargers, but they are now priced in the stratosphere.

I know this isn't brain surgery, but here's a little trick to do when two boards are screwed together and they need to be tight. The countersink on the back gives the blowing out of the board, when they're screwed together, a place to expand into leaving nothing between them that could otherwise cause a gap.

New winter side project. I'm bringing a Ford 1500 tractor w/loader back to life after pulling it out of a field. I got it running today after exorcising a lot of electrical demons and it drives and hydros all work. Every single switch is dead and no longer unavailable, so I have started rewiring the control panel. It is definitely a victim of non-maintenance. Every zirc fitting is painted over, every joint dry, a contender for the dirtiest engine oil I have ever seen, and the oil bath air filter was so plugged up with grit I am in shock that it even ran. I have not even looked at the fuel filter, hydro filter or trans oil yet. I don't expect them to be pleasant.

Great week! Took off early Friday, took my wife to dinner and the Drive-In. Split a bunch of Ash, Poplar, Red and White Oak. Got it stacked and started on the leaves in the front of our house with our 12 year old helper of course. Can’t burn until it rains as wild fires are starting here in Pa. One over in another county which hopefully ends when it rains this afternoon. These are unheard of in Pa. No rain for 5 weeks and dry leaves.

That's great! The only outdoor drive-in theatre in metro Vancouver closed at the end of September. Now we have none. It wasn't for lack of business; the property owner didn't renew the lease to the theatre after property taxes skyrocketed in the last three years.

We still have one and possibly two functioning ones in our sparsely populated Province.

We went to it for the first time a month ago. We found a good pub with good food on the way home. So we ate there first. It's not that close but we made a night of it and got home about 12:45am. A younger couple bought it when they heard it might become a large gas station. Glad they did as we lose history everyday. Here is some info on it.

Shankweiler's Drive-In first lit up the night sky in 1934 and has been entertaining moviegoers with double features on its massive outdoor screen for over 90 years. It is the second drive-in theater ever constructed, and the oldest operating drive-in theater in the America and the world!

Went to the cemetery & stared at my wife's grave for 2 hours...in the rain.
Sorry no pics...
I can’t imagine. I don’t really know what to say other than take care of yourself and sorry for your loss… There are plenty of good members here if you ever needed to talk all it takes is a PM or a post.
