What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Just got rid of the branches and some leaves as it started raining pretty hard. Done for the night…

Burnt a pile of wood from a tree I cut up. Was a great day to burn light wind and gentle rain.

Went to the cemetery & stared at my wife's grave for 2 hours...in the rain.
Sorry no pics...
Sir, I’m so sorry you had to endure the pain of that. The love and respect you have for your wife is truly a heartfelt inspirational act that makes my heart proud and sad at the same time! Thank you for sharing this personal story and may God bless you and help you make it through this difficult time.

I know this isn't brain surgery, but here's a little trick to do when two boards are screwed together and they need to be tight. The countersink on the back gives the blowing out of the board, when they're screwed together, a place to expand into leaving nothing between them that could otherwise cause a gap.

I'm getting there! The bumper is next.

Had a sunday family get together at the beach park down the road from my house. Good time kids running around playing in the water, cold beer, poke, and large variety of food cooked on the grill. Stayed and watched the sunset.

I'm so sorry for your loss & grief.

I visited the graves of my parents and both grandparents (all in the same area), then went by my childhood home, which was built by my dad. Looks like his former pride and joy will be put out of its misery very soon.

Just won the Captain-Co Captain pool
Tournament in our Pool league… Sorry no pics but we won a $100. Won it 2 years in a row now. Race to 3 in the finals. I ran the table and missed the 8 then my partner scratched on it giving them the first game and then we won the next three. It should have been over in 3…

There are many ways to do this, but doing it with simple tools is the way I enjoy it, all by hand. My big equipment was given away several moves ago. To be honest, furniture making in the 1700's was all by hand. That's the way I was taught. Mind you, this is not furniture making, but not one nail or screw was used in this project, except for mounting the pieces to the backboard. A little at a time.

Wow, it’s hard to top that one. I hope that you are on the road to a healthy recovery.

Thank you, I am home now recovering, doc said everything looking good. I just can’t stress if your not feeling normal or weak get a check u, I had chest pains, I went to the emergency room, they did test, and said that I’m on the verge of having a heart attack. Two days later I was having surgery. Doc said I was smart to come in. Most people ignore the signs.

Step son has been doing a lot of cleaning up at his mom's house. He's been getting with it too to the point I'm having a hard time keeping up with sorting everything. Been bringing everything that's in the way over stuffed 1 car garage over here to sort and am finding lots of stuff that shouldn't be thrown away. Wish I had took some 'before' pics! Anyways, I'm about to sort through the last pickup load that got here yesterday afternoon. Anyways, the wife and I went out to eat and enjoyed the lunch at Olive Garden yesterday. They didn't charge for her dinner either.....left a really nice tip.

Glad you went in!! I need to but the way I feel hasn't changed much if at all in the last couple of years or so.

You should go, they will doo a stress test,, x rays, then with me he went in with a camera and saw my heart veins were really closed. Added a balloon to keep them open. That part was easy.

Been out in my shop the past few weeks, doing clean-up and water abatement after runoff from my neighbor's construction flooded my shop with an inch of red, muddy runoff. Pissed me off, to say the least! His attitude so far has been "meh!". My son and I rolled out his pressure washer and got the majority of the floor cleaned up. There is still a good amount of red silt all around the floor.

I also got my shelving arrangement sorted out. Having stuff scattered about is no way to store. Most things are now binned and stored by vehicle and/or category.

By March, I'll have everything placed where I want it for far easier access. Hopefully, the '87 Chevy Squarebody will be sold by then.

I was in the Mather VA Hospital this morning for them to do the "stress test" on me, to see what my heart is up to these days.
5 years ago they replaced a valve on my heart, and July this year i lost consciousness and blacked out in the bathroom, here in my house.
Didn't have to do the tread mill, as they injected a drug into my system, that stimulates stress on the heart.
Then they put you in a big machine twice, to see what's going on.
If you have to do a stress test, it's easy, not bad at all.
