What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Watched football and played the guitar a bit.

Watched the last quarter of the packer/saints game when it started raining – real glad I didn’t waste any more otherwise productive time than this viewing it. Brought back old memories watching the packers on the ‘80’s…

I watched the first half of that game.

Looks like Winston may have found his coach, a mentor, and an offense that works for him.

Did not see any dangerous forced passes into traffic like was his trademark in Tampa.

Assembled my 1150 after spending all weekend wrapping it in stock colours.

Mom's dryer quit. IIRC it's over 25 years old.
She was ready to drop $600 on a new one.
Got lucky and the first thermal fuse I bypassed made it work.
Repair cost- $7!
Hope it doesn't pop the replacement.

Our dryer had the same thing happen about 4 years ago, and is still going.

Made a batch of hot relish I use on hot dogs. My wife saved the day by helping. Need it to age a month so favor mingles. First pic is vegetable insert more open than ones for meat.

Its my birthday and I was going to pull the charger engine down for a noise. I pulled the engine earlier this week. But I said I'm not going to do that and took my sons golfing. We had a big time. Now I'm sitting on the porch with my wife and a beer.
I'll work on the engine tomorrow

Just make sure you clean all the lint and fluff out of the entire machine. That stuff can be a fire hazard if not thoroughly cleaned.
Thermal fuse on the drum is usually the first to pop.

DO NOT drop a bolt into the air filter housing on these things, sounds like playing Plinko. Had to remove all the underside air damns to get it back FFS. Managed to do so without breaking any of the plastic push rivets.

Clutch went in the F-in-laws Kubota Hoe and they want 10 grand to split the tractor and fix it... so he sold it as is, so I wont' have that this Fall / Winter to get stuff done. Time to try'n resurrect the '76 JD410 that I haven't started in 19 years. Stole the solenoid off of it for my JD350 dozer 9 years ago. I've had the new solenoid for 7 years for when "I got around to it"! Thankfully my coffee can has stayed on the exhaust stack, so the motor's not seized like my gas JD350 dozer the Son never covered up! :cursin: Got her running on ether at least today. Looks like I have an injector pump to tear apart as I'm not getting fuel to the injector ports.

Worked on the garage, getting it ready for paint. Scrapped off the curling/peeling paint and I’m 1/2 way through the primer job. It was built in 1955, and is all brick except the gables and the front doors, and since they have a southern exposure, the sun fries them. It’s been been neglected for too long, and it hit me it’s now or having to wait for spring. Winter is coming...
