What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I prefer 2112.
I still play my original copy today

I have one, too.

Probably ought to look up the value.

Original press vinyl has escalated quite a bit since last I checked anything in the early '00's.

Finished up the Dungeons and Dragons restoration today, the machine my Wife bought me for my 30th birthday. In 11 more days I've had this for 30 years... that'll mean I'm 60! DANG!

Worked on stripping down a vibrator today.....bearings are toast.

Cleaned out all the carbon and steel dust to see if it will spin up.

Wow, those Kiwi women must be brutal in the sack, if that's the kind of "toys" they use.

Worked Saturday...in blizzard conditions. Still had customers coming in for oil changes. Unreal.

Woke Sunday to 5" of snow on the ground....and 32" drift across my driveway. Went to the garage to fix the snowblower. It snapped a belt (11 years old) last storm. Ordered two new ones online since nobody local had any. Ordered (2) 1/2x35" belts.

Received (2) 1/2x33" belts.

No bueno.

Shoveled (!) the drift so I could get out of the driveway. Picked up my new AR (well, since I was out....), dialed in the red dot sight and ran a box of ammo through it to make sure it was all good. Then, I hit Autostoned and got a belt ("what's the application?" "a snowblower. I just need a v-belt, 1/2" wide, 35" long, like this broken one"), went home, fixed the blower, cleared the rest of the 1200' driveway (including the 24" drift at the workshop door so I can get my truck out). Then, put a new front hub/bearing in my 2001 Ram 2500 with 276k miles. Un-fun. Note: the trick of putting a socket and extension on the hub bolts, and using the power steering as a built-in hydraulic press? WORKS.

Then...fed the dogs, did laundry, fed myself.... "day of rest", my ***!

Bought $150 of cat and dog food at the "damaged in transit" store.

Would have been over $300 retail.

It's all donated, usually 90-95% product, priced at 50% of the lowest retail listing, and the proceeds, after their rent and gas in their trucks go to a bulldog rescue.

Sounds like a win - win -win to me!

...and the lady behind the counter makes a killer brownie with peanut butter icing for $2.

Those things are trying to destroy themselves from the first time they run...
Agreed....and someone used the wrong mounting bolts....the holes in the feet are now flogged out like unilugs on a Chebby.

Another long day, officially 4.5 months into this "Fall" project! 8 more days 'till I turn 60 and will be retiring from this gig and back in the shop! That's MY plan anyhow...
