What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

I fired up my snow blower and moved it up from my garden shed to my garage in preparation for our first snowfall. We have nothing here, yet, but London, Ontario, 25 miles North of us got quite a bit of snow the last couple of days. I am glad we got our banana crop harvested last weekend! LOL.

Lol Dave,
Wife and I are doing the hospital tour to London everyday, so weather is a concern. No snow for us and did not encounter any until Wellington and 401 on the south side of London. Will see what today brings. Subie WRX goes through about anything unless it gets too deep. Then out comes the Gladiator.

The flat free tires have a foam insert instead of a tube. They've become popular for wheelchair use. They don't roll and handle quite as well as true pneumatic tires, but I like them for situations where you absolutely don't want to deal with a flat, like when I went to Mecum Kissimmee two years ago.

Finally finished the lift install and already put it to work. This ride needs a transmission job.

Helped get rid of the remaining wet, salty sea dog aroma. Had the kids at the beach on Thanksgiving morning. Took their wet beds out when I got home and let the sun do its thing.

Called into my Electrical Supply shop to collect a bike I won in last month's promotions. Neat bike....RRP $650

work, ate, slept... i have been sleeping way too much. Winter just drains me. Need to get some work done on the car, waiting on motivation :)

Put a couple of bushes in the ground. On the first hole I started to dig, I found a leftover fence post concrete stump right where I wanted the hole. So the hole went north a few inches. Two of my many cast away PVC pieces being repurposed. Galvanized mesh on the bottom for Varmint Cong and Copper foil tape on top to keep Snails out. Toga was supervising me for awhile. After that, I put the Christmas decoration storage bins in the garage to get them out of the way. We keep that stuff stored under the house usually but since the access door is a little less than 3' square and I didn't want to put them under then pull back out then put under again at the end of the month, garage it was. I'm pooped.

Got down to the Oakland, California Pick-N-Pull wrecking yard this morning to get some parts off a 1965 Dodge Dart, that they set out in one of their Chrysler Corp. row of cars a week ago.
Never been to that yard before, in all these years that i have been wrecking yarding.
Wouldn't have found it, without GPS navigating me there.
A great modern convenience, that's for sure.
You can pick rite out side the yard as well , also along the rail tracks down the street there on 98th BAD area if your not aware.

Bought a $30 thrift store telescope last weekend.

Needed some hardware and adjustments but it's just fine now.
60mm x 900

I had a similar one back in the 90's and watched the Schmacher-Levy 9 asteroid impact Jupiter.
That was a good show.

This one is a slight upgrade over that one with a 1.25" lens system vs my old one's .96"

They are $140 online.

Claiming a score.

Wouldn't that be the carpark?

I bought a cheap telescope a few years back about that size.

It was absolutely useless......couldn't even see through the windows across the road!!!
