What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Replaced the gas valve in our 5 1/2 year old boiler. Every once in a while it wouldn’t open and it needed a tap with a hammer. Don’t need it crapping out in the winter when we are away.

Beats replacing the whole thing, that was me last week.
BTW, I hear that chargervert guy has a stash of dog dish caps for the Roach. He will have to let us know when to congregate for the swap.

I'm at work, it's so cold outside that parts of a mans anatomy can freeze right off out there! No car work today!

Car said 39 degrees here in central FL

45 here with 72%, some light rain and breezy. Light weight long Marys ain't doing the job in I'm out in the breeze.

Went to see my Dermatologist with the wife this morning. She got a clean bill of skin health but I got 6 'spots' burned off. At least there hasn't been anymore cuttings in a few years now. This was Norma's first time to get a full body skin check!

I fixed the rusted bottom corners and banged it all back in shape. I fixed the dents and the split grill will get a piece of trim made to cover it, both sides match. I don't want it perfect, it wasn't perfect when it was new. Those are working sealed beam car headlights, that I'll change into 7 watt nightlight 120V. I want them to just glow, not project. It's going orange with chrome lights, chrome painted grill and a billet aluminum 3 1/4 inch radiator cap. I think it's going in my office. A day at a time!

Went sled riding with the family. In one of his buildings he has an office with a kitchen. From shrimp to sandwiches, from wine to 4 gallons of hot chocolate. What a day!! None of the trucks could pull it, snow was to deep, tractor time. The ride covered about 50 acres.

Added shelving and pegboard to the carport to start getting the Road Runner parts organized.
