What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

Thanks Dave. Originally she had 5 spots discovered last May. She went thru the Gamma Knife(Gamma Rays) procedure over 3 days in July. The follow-up MRI in October showed all 5 were eliminated. This MRI showed that a lesion has reappeared in one of the same spots but they are not sure if its dead matter from the Gamma Ray or if its another cancer. She is doing another special MRI next week with a special dye that will be injected. The wife has been a trooper thru all of this. Her Kemo treatments has reduced the spot on her lung tremendously from 4.8 centimeters down to 1.7 centimeters and shrinking. For me its been very nerve wracking cause all I can do is be there for any emotional support. For me, I'm use to fixing things. The wife told the docs to be as aggressive as possible. When she gets angry, she kicks ***. Sorry for this speech but sometimes it helps to talk things out even with caring strangers. Thanks again.

Been threw this and didnt win, tell her not to give up thats what makes a difference. Praying for you guys.

I've been going through some boxes I didn’t remember having. I still have a lot of electrical stuff from when I was in the, I can fix anything business. LOL. I've rewired more than a few boat docks and replumbed my share of bathrooms and kitchens. I can remember mounting a blue light on my boat dock and within two years every dock that I could see from my place did the same, it was pretty cool!!
These will be next for me to do something with.

This is a minivan back side glass electric opener. These are about 1/4 turn open. They would be great for a grabber style hood scoop. I had a bunch of them from when the plant closed. Several of my friends that built cars took most of them, got them thinking on what to do with them.

Getting there. This was never supposed to be perfect. The trim on the left covers a big split in the metal that blew out most of that side. So I installed 3/4" x 1/8" aluminum flat stock on both sides. It's bent and formed to follow the contour of the grill. Theresa's my advisor on all my projects. It's either nay or yeah. There really is no right or wrong in art, just personal taste. This when done, will go on our office wall.

A french cleat is what I use to mount all of my stuff to the wall. This simple hanger will hold hundreds of pounds.

Traveled with the wife two hours to go to our cabin. My neighbor about 2 miles down the mountain is in the last hours of life. We've been friends with them for 30+ years. His wife was so glad we dropped by for a couple of hours. I said my goodbyes to Fred and he briefly opened his eyes and mumbled an answer. So sad. They live without running water and power. She couldn't get the generator going so my wife and I worked on it and got it going. I'll miss him. His wife will be moving out of the cabin when he passes and moving to Idaho. We offered our encouragement on her plans. They are the last permanent original residents on our part of the mountain road. Goodbye Fred.
