What did you do today....other than work on your car!?

This is the project I'm working on at work.
We're building a new facility in a neighboring city.
This is a spring loaded mount for a 75" interactive white board TV.
The TV's are F'n heavy.
There are several of them.

I had to go out and help them figure out exactly where to mount the backer boards.
We almost had to move the already run electrical and/or the stubs for the data.
But we got by with just modifying the backer board layout and moving the TV 6 inches to the East, to avoid hitting the conduit with the lag bolts.

The spring box ain't light. I guess about 30-40 pounds.
I have never seen a mount like that.
I estimate the TV weighs 60-80 pounds.
One guy can almost move it.

This '98 is the best 1500 bucks I ever spent. I don't care what you're driving, when you smack the bank (with the plow turned) hard enough to lift the *** end and throw it into the snow bank, you're not getting out without help! First time I've had to yank it this year... and that's rare. They haven't made a good Dodge truck since about 1978!
Still have my 97 diesel.....been a good truck. Had a 79 D300 Adventurer SE single wheel that was pretty worn out when I got it. Named it Edna because I whipped and beat her some more for the next 10 years! 360 w/granny low and M60 rear with 4.10's. Added 33's BFG Sport Truck radials all the way around mainly to kill the 4.10's a bit. That made it ride nicely.
God I miss that... :poke: :rofl:
I miss all the machinery I had access to and lots of co-workers but keep in touch with several of them.
Still cleaning up the rental.

They left us a garage half full of crap and a few interesting items-

Pre-lighted Christmas tree. On line price is six hundred dollars!!

Also 5 computer monitors and an NVidia video card, along with a win10 pro license key.
...and a 100 foot #16 extension cord. Kinda wimpy, but we'll take it.
...and we keep finding dimes. We'll take those, too.

About six busted fishing poles...and six good fishing poles and reels.
One is "everyone's first" Zebco 33. It actually feels GREAT, like new.
...and a 225/65/16 tire marked $40.
It's nicer than my mom's spare, and will fit her rim.

...and a fridge full of thawed and refrozen food-

...with a broken shelf.
Most items are delivery/uber eats.
Nice they can afford a $26 milk shake to be delivered, but not their rent!

Even delivery pre mixed salads!

The hall closet bi-fold. Not sure what happened, but the paper "wood" that holds the bottom pivot was broken.
New one is real wood.

Lots of painting and a fair amount of hole patching.
Living high on the hog is why they couldn't afford the rent....
