Amen!Dude. It's a positive message about pulling together and making this country great. You seriously have to bring the whole liberal vs. conservative thing into it? That us vs. them thing is getting us nowhere! Look at how messed up this country is! You think it's all Obama's fault? It's BOTH parties fault! Nobody in Congress wants to work with the "other side", so we all lose.
Bush had 8 years to get it right. He left us with tons of debt, two wars unfinished. Obama has had 4 years, debt has increased, economy, healthcare, infrastructure, education all a mess. Neither side knows what the hell they're doing! If I ran my company like the Fed, I'd be out of business in a month, being audited by the IRS.
Ahh. Needed to rant. Feel better. I dig places like this forum, where people can come together with a common cause, help each other out and treat each other with respect. If only our government could do the same.
Eastwood is a fiscal conservative but he's also a liberal on social issues. Can Fed led major social programs work? It ain't working very well now but what else works well when the Fed is running it? Also, I think it's time for the 2 party system to go away. As for the commercial...it was a good one and I also think it was more of a pep talk too. Those kinds of 'pep talks' makes many want to go out and buy something....:iamwithstupid: After watching it several times now, It kind of made me think it was a second term political add for Obama {were at halftime America, wink, wink, like the job is only half done, it would be interesting to see who actually paid for the add} helping or taking credit for bailing out the Auto industry, or am I just adding 2+2 & getting 5... Clint was running as mayor as a Republican if I'm not mistaken though, so maybe I'm reading something into the message that isn't really there... Other than the political aspect I thought it was a good commercial you didn't even know it was a Chrysler commercial until the very end....
