Please tell me you didn’t actually make 10 foot cuts with thisFor a small tool that made life way easier.. it's definitely this. It's one of the most important tools in my collection when working around the house now for sure. Cutting holes for receptacle, trimming doors, door trim, baseboards, cutting nails in between studs, register openings, sanding in tight spots... I even cut 2 10'x8' garage door openings out in 1/2' plywood in minutes with it. Very impressive tool.View attachment 1396245
Why yes I did and it did it quickly lol (mines corded). Yes the correct way would have been to cut the sheeting before installing it but I was undecided on whether or not I wanted the opening to be arched or not so I left an extra foot to work with. We later decided on just a square opening so I was going to use it to cut the corners in but it was cutting so quickly and made it so easy to make a perfect cut I just kept going. Please tell me you didn’t actually make 10 foot cuts with this
Hey, if it works, that’s great. I have the same tool and use it a lot, but don’t like trying to make long straight cuts with it.Why yes I did and it did it quickly lol (mines corded). Freehand straight cuts aren't fun but straight cuts where you just hold the blade against the inside framework as a guide are effortless.Hey, if it works, that’s great. I have the same tool and use it a lot, but don’t like trying to make long straight cuts with it.
But I’ve been known to get creative with tool selection myself.
And look, you have plenty of floor space left over for a ball!I didn't want one because of the wasted floor space but I thank FBBO for talking some sense into me, I use it all the time!View attachment 1396244
