A buddy stopped by and told me about a 64 Sport Fury for sale. Owner inherited it from his brother. He's a chevy guy and doesn't want it or know what it is worth. My dad and I went out and took a look. red with and red and white interior,383 4spd. Pass. quarter is toast. Interior is all there but,in poor condition. Motor is all there less air cleaner. It turns freely. Pass. side trim is ruined. Cowl is good, fender ok. Driver quarter needs some work as well as the trunk extensions. Drivers floor has a large hole. Console and shifter is there as well. Needs total resto. I offered 800.00 and came up to a grand. He wants 2500.00. I see it as a parts car although I would love to see it restored.

Based on your description, I would say $2-$3K to the right buyer. Four speed/shifter/engine, buckets/console are worth that by themselves...if you need them.

If you get it for 2k you're doing good. It's a good color combo and a pretty stout factory drivetrain, and you can't change those things, they are what they are. Trunk extensions can be had cheap through rock auto, quarters and wheel houses off a 4dr can be used, they make full floors, and Legendary can handle the interior bits.

Funny, a Chevy guy "stuck" with a 64 Plymouth... I'm a Mopar guy STUCK with a 62 Belair... Although, I may have a buyer!!! I gotta a rep to protect, and it's hard to shake a "Chevy-Guy, ie. Corvette-Guy, Camaro-Guy" rep!!:icon_fU:
