Well on top of one major 68 charger project, and working on getting my 68 super bee motor and trans back in by spring, i recently scored a 5.7 hemi that i wanna drop in something to make me a daily driver out of. Got a line on a 69 sport satellite from a guy at work that sounded real promising and for 1200 bucks i thought if it needs a lot of body work i would still go for it. He swore it was solid, and it was. As are a bunch of 4 door grandma cars. Wish he would have mentioned that little tid bit of info before I drove across town. Of course i should have asked, but i kind of assumed he would know better. Guess i know what that makes me. My boss has a 64 dodge 440 2 door hardtop sitting at work. Been there for 20 years. Story i get is it was real nice when he got it but sitting outside has pretty much killed it. Front floors are done. Body needs done. Frame rails and rear floors and trunk are ok. And all the chrome is surprisingly in really nice shape save for the bumpers which are dull. I will snap some pics on my phone monday and show you all. He is ready to sell. I low balled him with 500. Its just a 318 car. If it was a post car i could see it bringing more. We shall see what happens. I think he wants 1000 but i dont see anyone else waving cash his way. I wont go over 5. I will spend more on something in better shape before i pay too much on a car that needs floors, quarters and a fender. So thats what im up to. Ask me next week, the story will probably change.

buy my belvedere and put that 5.7l in it, its better than her rotting away in this rain..
Well I've been planning on starting to buy the parts I need for my engine build/front suspension rebuild. But the current state of politics, I think I might spend the money getting a couple more guns before it becomes much harder to.

i dont live in the desert, i live in BFE where when it rains it rains for days ha. and i dont like the 4 doors either.

You're a board? My kids learned pretty fast not to come around me saying they were bored lol. To me, saying you're bored is just another way to say "I'm lazy" 
There's so much around here to do that I'll never get it all done but one of the things I'd like to build is a 66-67 Belvedere 2dr post car with a 2" chopped top. I have the car and an extra roof to build it with but just can't bring myself to cut the top of my 99% rust free 66.....

im a 2x4 haha i noticed the typo after i posted it. i wish i had something to do, i live in a town with a population of like 700 and they are all senior citizens so im not sure what there is too do, no stores nothing its pretty hard to find something to do.You're a board? No rats in any of my rods! I'm ready to move to a town like that....pretty much sick of living near a big city but we have plenty to do without leaving the house.

it just rained, so the back roads here are all mud it makes me wish my ranger was 4 wheel drive. or if one of my friends had a real truck so i can get mmine stuck and know they can pull me out.

I think you are getting a little stir crazy in bfe. Perhaps you should consider moving to a more metropolitan area rather than have people move closer to you. Ever think about that?
