Old school slotted wheels freezing their asses off like all of us are this week!
15x7 inch rallye wheels on my 71 Charger R/T.
My Charger R/T convertible sporting the Dragstars and Mickey Thompson N 50 15 tires!
Slotted wheels on my former 71 Charger SE,matching numbers 383 Magnum car.
15x10 inch rallye wheels on my 70 Charger R/T V code car.

This guy is too much of a square to own a mopar, he at least got a corvette, but even then he’s not enough of a square to have dork dishes, even with studded snow tires!
I have no intention of my recently acquired Corvette ever needing snow tires!
Even though there was snow on the ground in the picture, it went on my trailer and safely into its winter hibernation spot in my garage!

I was shocked myself reading that guys story. I know they were “just cars” then, but even then I would think it would be rare for a corvette to be a daily into the winter driver

Yes, Corvettes were more often than not 'dailys' bitd. They were never really 'just cars' , but they were daily drivers and ofttimes the only car. I never put snow tyres on mine, but in the late 70s, my 70 both top roadster was my only car. In fact, it started snowing the afternoon I picked it up from the previous owner.
As an aside, high horsepower Corvettes on wide tyres are NOT the vehicle of choice in slippery conditions...
My 69 Corvette was my only car when I got married in 1972. Of the very few GM products that I have offered owned, it was the best one.
