Where did you and your car go today

You are living the life I had when these cars were "only" 20-25 years old but only hard core people wanted them.

Carry on.

Iola Old Car Show 2024 - Beautiful Cruise on country back roads from the house - About an hour and half each way - Weather was perfect

I made enough of a contribution to hey-o, time for a little fun. We have great down town with some great little shops, one of them is a new butcher shop so I thought I’d stop by. This car is fantastic, and really a testament to a properly built hot rod. Cruise down the highway? Sure. Idle around town like a Honda civic but waaay cooler? Why not. Drop a gear and do awesome burnouts? Well even though it tootles around town like a Honda civic it is a muscle car after all

I go to an art show in Belleville Illinois. The buildings and the streets look like that. They block off the streets for blocks and the town center. I park in the back by a place that looks like where your car is parked. It's a Mexican joint that serves the best margaritas, by the pitcher. I've learned never drink a pitcher before you walk a few miles. Felt like 20 miles!! Pay attention now, I'm giving life lessons for free here!! LOL.

First trip to the track this year, trying out the new Edelbrock AVS2.
Despite feeling fantastic on the street it was slower than the Holley.

I was getting ready to leave the house and this happened, I guess I won’t be going to the car show anytime soon…

I went up to the 1st annual “Cheerleader Show”, a fundraiser for our schools cheerleaders. Not a huge turnout , but some very unique rides. Not many Mopars except my Roadrunner, my buddies GTX, and a 65 pro street Satellite, but the stars for me were these couple of vehicles. Yea, I know, not Mopars, but since I appreciate all classic cars, I just thought I’d share.

There’s a clapped out old Camaro in my buddies yard. When I asked him why he was keeping it, he opened the hood…..yep, 427. The car is just enclosed storage for the engine!

It's time to downsize to a manageable heard. I have a lot of difficult choices to make. I spent many years accumulating what I have ,but I don't want to leave my wife or kids an unmanageable mess, only for them to sell off everything I worked for, for pennies on the dollar.
One of the biggest problem's you'll face is that much of your potential market is of a similar age as you....and have similar feelings on the subject.
