Went to local show at Steak & Shake. 1972 442 owned 48 years. M code 350 /4 speed. Great car.

Yesterday I hit the post office, hardware store, swap meet, and brewery.
Cruises and official car events are fine, but I really get the most joy out of doing regular, daily things. No schedule, no agenda to stick to, and no cleaning the car.

I’m not a car show person, but Weatherford puts on a good cruise night. Got her all cleaned up, and it started raining, normally I’m not scared of the rain, but this car isn’t watertight so I guess I’ll grab a burger in town. Even just a couple blocks is worth it
That's a very nice car and I do a appreciate 442's. Had several friends that owned them. One had a 66, bought new and till the day he died, three years ago, its life was a 1/4 mile at a time. Thanks for sharing.
I went to a few shows and found it not to my liking. I take my 65 out a few times a week, to just take care of business.

My wife and I went out to breakfast, then cruised into the Stahl's Auto Museum charity for Autism. They have a great lot for shows, and have one every Thursday evening.
It's a world-class museum....and they are gonna build a new/much larger facility. Great family, who give....
The museum is only 5 minutes from my home.

Yep. Gas prices are a roller coaster, in the mornings there’s 3 stations I pass and they’re $2.80-$3 in the morning, and $3-$3.20 in the afternoon

The day I bought Cora, it hailed on us for MILES on the way home. I got so lucky, it didn't do any damage, pea size to marble size. I'll say one thing, the wipers work well and fast!!
