We headed north to Curtis’s BBQ in Putney, VT (two old IH school busses and an open pit) for some lunch and across to New Hampshire and back down home. 200 miles or so and the 340 gave us back about 16.5MPG.
Got home at 7:30 or so, nice weather before the winter starts setting in.

In the past the food was great. They were cleaned out of ribs when we got there and got chicken. It wasn’t ribs so it’s had to compare but good. How was the food there?
We have been to Mineral Wells on a road trip. Nice place.Well I could finish that off with, to the east side, to a deluxe apartments up in the sky, movin on up, finally got a piece of the pie. But I’m on the west side, not in an apartment, and there’s pie
You my friend, are well on your way to writing a success story. How cool is all that!! The secret to success is eating the apple one bite at a time. Never stopping, just one bite at a time.Well I could finish that off with, to the east side, to a deluxe apartments up in the sky, movin on up, finally got a piece of the pie. Thank you for the kind words. I work hard every day to break the stereotype of my shitty generation. You my friend, are well on your way to writing a success story. How cool is all that!! The secret to success is eating the apple one bite at a time. Never stopping, just one bite at a time.
I promise, it will pay off. Yes, I said promise.Thank you for the kind words. I work hard every day to break the stereotype of my shitty generation.
It use to be better, early 1900s is was a resort town, celebrities would flock to the hotels, and you had the largest helicopter training base Fort Wolters. When they closed all that in the 70s, and the interstate went around, the town slowly died. It’s making a comeback though! We have been to Mineral Wells on a road trip. Nice place.
