Where did you and your car go today

Went back to have my wheel alignment checked after having the front-end replaced. He told me to come back after it settled out in a few hundred miles. It did settle a bit and he realigned it. That's just how he works on these old school front-ends.

On a trip to Texas, I tried whataburger. I really liked it.

Made a couple laps up and down Main Street, would be nice to have more old cars out, it’s kinda obvious when the cops come looking for the old car doing burnouts  .

The last building is the crazy water hotel, the first big hotel built in town.

He didn’t start anything, as usual it’s a Texan defending his states honor!
Actually, Mr Cheapsunglasses started it by uttering such, such, such... blasphemy!:)
In his defence , all joking aside, Whataburger IS substantially/consistently better in Texas than elsewhere. It may have something to do with better quality control closer to home office; at least that used to be the case until a couple of years ago when they were bought out by a foreign corporation from like illinois [chicongo] I think. I know for sure that they have gone WAY downhill since then every time or place that I have tried them. I have given up on em personally.
But to say that ANY Whataburger is better than In-N-Out ... well that just deserves a huge red X.

I love it!! This site is about tech support and that is always the number one goal, but taking these street warriors out for a meeting is what lives about. I use to be a GM guy, because of my son and like you, I'm now surrounded by them as our world joins in a community of friends, not foes. Thanks for sharing and your machine is definitely a Bitchin ride!!!!........... Let The Horses Run!!!.......... Ulli

Thats some great history of your car. I dont recognize the car from the from the picture. The car would have been registered on the Island of Oahu due to the liscense plate. From the background in the picture I would guess Wahiawa or Kahaluu.
What was the original color and engine combo. I can ask around see if I can find out any more background info for you

That's all I know or should say, was told.

I'll ask around, and see if I can find any info. You never know, Hawaii is a pretty small place.

Went for a ride today and went by a friend's shop while I was out. I had him check out a few things on Cora for me. He's a fabricator, builds race cars, radiator repair service, and one of the most well rounded car guys I know, next to Jerry Bickel and him I don't like.
