The weather was great, sunny and around 44 degress. Went for a ride and did some grocery shopping.

Took the Coronet to a local 50s diner car show. Judges actually commented several times about the trim blinding them whenever they passed by to look. Was shocked to bring home a trophy. Fun day for me.

Very nice set up. Parking for many is always appreciated. I drive mine all the time, but when the sun goes down she likes to sleep inside!! LOL

I started to go out for an early ride today, before going to the front-end guy and my battery was dead. First things first, went and bought a new battery to replace the 8 years old one and off I went. When I hit the curb this summer I split a Torsion Bar bushing. At this point if I replace one thing, I'm replacing it all. It's the last time I'll ever have to deal with it and I want all new. The guy doing it has done a few alignment jobs for me and his father did all my cars before him. It's a filler job for him and the price is to fair for me to even think about doing it myself in my little garage. The days of climbing under my car in one bay and the other bay is full of part while my Durango is outside are not about to start. When I downsized, so did my garage size, something I'm not very happy about, but well, that's my fault. His shop is across the street from Fast Lane.
