Where did you and your car go today

I drove the 73 to work all week, last week!

100 mile round trip for a beer today, playing cat and mouse up to Thornbury. Both cars ran flawless, but the Wife was having issues getting the Barracuda into 1st. Guess that's my next tweeking project. Some prick door dinged my passenger side door on the Bee at Loblaws in Collingwood while we were in looking for GD2's "wheel" pasta. Kinda spoiled the vibe...

At the end of the day, the cars got a work out, you had a drink with this woman that can't be replaced and you made it home. The rest pisses us off, but you know how to use a car and that a**hole can only dream. Thanks for sharing.
Went for a short drive in the 68 while moving it to get the 70 out to replace the thermostat housing. Damn aluminum parts. I think it’s aluminum, it was badly corroded at the hose area.

There's that hood again!!!!!!!!!! Sweet!!!
I hope that you put a boot in the offending person's door.
I had just bought a new 1973 Capri and went to kmart with my brother. As we're coming out of the store I can see a car parked nose to nose with mine. The closer I get, I can see he's up over my bumper and license plate. The boat was a s**t bucket caprice. My brother looks at me and knows I'm not happy. I get in and back away about 6 feet, stop and get out. The top of the plate was the only damage, it was folded over. I stepped back and kicked everything on the grill till there was pieces of headlights, and grill all over the ground. Got back in and drove off. Not one of my proudest moments, but for the love of God, I was 17, new car and worked my a** off for all of it. WTF. I had to go home and polish my Frye boots, they got scuffed during the altercation. They live among us, they shouldn't, but they do.

That **** I have no issue with, we drive everything. Hell her Barracuda is a 3400 original mile car. I should have waited for the dickwad to come out of the store and beat the **** out of them... or let the Wife do it if it was a female.
Many stories and I won't bore you with them. Just close your eyes and imagine.... LOL.

Had to do a little work on her, and Weather has been poopy last few days l, but it is an amazing day, perfect temperature, suns out, not a cloud in the sky. Might as well make it better with the car and the eagles.

You got to pay to ride, a little maintenance here and a little maintenance there... LOL ........ I see the gate, but at first I thought you hit a tree. That's not maintenance, that would have been a nightmare. Be safe ......Ulli
Yeah that wasn’t a good picture, I was tired and just quickly snapped one. I drive this car pretty regularly with no issues, it’s been as far as Lubbock, 230 miles, I thought hay 90 miles isn’t a big deal for it.

There’s always that 1 trip. I think the distributor o ring messed up, and possibly the oil pressure sender. I had an electrical problem, I think it was just a loose battery terminal. And when I got home I noticed steam, I have my heater hoses looped and it it fell into the alternator belt.

But respect the road and the people of the road and the road will get you home

It's a great picture. Remember, these cars needed maintenance back in the day when they were new. Ten thousand miles was a bunch years ago. You're all good!!

I’m not mad, if I had to do it again I would. Like Monty python said “always look at the bright side of life.” These cars are always a fun adventure, and I’ve made sure to tell the car manny times I’m not mad or disappointed, hopefully she knows
