Which block for a stroker? A 383 or a 440?

451s seem to run great! Mine has 13.3 to 1 C/R, 915 heads, 509 cam, Holley Street Dominator intake. Runs mid 12s with auto at 5600 feet in a RoadRunner. Gotta love those motors! Mild street manners, lots of torque, revs well. And I'm using factory valve train!

Yep, my combination sounds like an oddball but should be surprising.
Eagle 4.25 stroke w/2.20 rod journal
Eagle 7.1 rods w/.990 pin
SRP Flat tops
Crane 1.6 roller rockers
Comp Cam Hydraulic Roller, special grind (230/236 @ .050, advertised 281/287, lift w/1.6 622/625)
Stealth heads w/Comp locks, retainers, and springs
Weiand 8009 dual plane intake (may go with Indy dual plane)
