You might be thinking of me, as i posted about that problem.
But right after i posted, overnight, the next morning, the ads stopped appearing.

I am not gold but I have the same white ghost bar at the bottom. I can delete it on my phone but not on my computer.

had annoying ads this morning and one other morning recently; but it was fixed after an hour or 2

Can someone explain to this computer illiterate old man, why all of sudden, say within the past year, or so, why have these ads appeared on these web sites?
What happened, what changed, out there in the internet, computer, world?
Everything was fine for untold years, until this ad BS started showing up all the time.

This is neither reasonable or desired by me or, (as I suspect) any of the members.
Who actually wants to have ads take up half the screen on any website that you visit?
I get none when using the computer but they take up half the screen when using the iphone. It is extremely annoying. The phone can be hard enough to navigate but when most of the screen is covered by an ad that you can't "minimize" or eliminate, it makes site navigation severely crippled.
