F2H- snakeyes my dad worked on those&Corsairs off the coast of Korea. He/we were always partial to Corsairs. Few yrs ago he stuck his shoulders up in access panel at mid-fuselage with the pilot& came out with a big grin on his face.
SE of Akron. There's a lake right next to hanger that was used for some kind of sonar testing back in the 50's-70's.
